The Breakers Palm Beach

The Breakers Palm Beach, located at 1 South County Road in Palm Beach, Florida, is a historic oceanfront resort renowned for its Gilded Age grandeur and modern luxury. Founded in 1896 by industrialist Henry Flagler, the resort has been rebuilt twice due to fires in 1903 and 1925, with the current Renaissance Revival structure opening in 1926. Designed by Schultze & Weaver, the hotel features Italianate architecture inspired by the Villa Medici in Rome, with a grand lobby adorned with Murano glass chandeliers and a central fountain reminiscent of Florence's Boboli Gardens .
